Roger Johnsen, Chief technology Officer

Chief Technology Officer, Roger Johnsen, is a 25-year veteran in product development as a key driver in multiple successful high-tech startups, as well as in an established Fortune 500 company.  From engineering design to executive management, he has been instrumental in bringing over 400 hardware and software products to market in the professional audio, computer networking, home automation, and consumer electronics industries.  The products have been sold under the moniker of a dozen premium and well-known brand names in their respective markets.  Roger led global engineering teams in China, India, Canada, and the U.K.  He holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Utah.  He is affiliated with the University of Utah’s Technology & Venture Commercialization office, the Utah Technology Council, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Power and Energy Society, Audio Engineering Society, Project Management Institute, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.  He has been awarded 24 U.S. patents, as well as associated international patents, with additional patents pending.
